Nuwaya Eliya .... !

Nuwaya Eliya is a town situated in the mountain in sri lanka. It is famous for its cold climate. Nuwaya Eliya means”City of light”. It is also called ‘little England’ because of its climate and the houses and the buildings built during the British rule in sri lanka.

PIdurutala gala, the tallest mountain in the country over looks the Nuwaya Eliya town. It is said that the city was founded by Samuel baker who s the legend ary discoverer of lake albert.

Nuwaya Eliya is the main city for the tea production in sri lanka.As you all know, Sri lanka is one of the world’s largest exporters of tea. Since tea was introduced to sri lanka in the mid 19th century, Nuwaya Eliya has been the capital of the tea industry. For many miles before reaching Nuwaya Eliya form any direction you will find acres and acres of tea plantations and tea states. Though the city was found by the british in 19th century, today it is visited mostly by locals. Most of the visitors come during the month of april where there are flowers ,pony races,go carting races and motor rallies.

There are a few attractions in Nuwaya Eliya, the Victoria park,golf club,boating on lake Gregory,hakala Botanical gardens are some of the main attractions. Visitors who visit Horton plains is a key wildlife area of open grassy woodland.

Ampang look out point... !

I took this picture from the hill top... This place is called ampang look out point. It's in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur).You can see whole Kuala lumpur from this hill.It is 280M above the sea level.I went to this place with my friends more than 2 times.Normally me and my friends celebrate our birthday here in the hill top restaurant.

In the picture you can see twin towers its so nice to see.. Malaysia means Twin towers.it is in Ampang.

They have many restaurants in that place . they are Gasoline,Haven,Look out point restaurant,Panorama restaurant.

For your vacation you can have a day in this place.

Many people like to go islands for their holidays. Even I like to..!

I would like to tell about a Island in Indian ocean. The Republic of Maldives. It has 1190 small coral islands, out of which 200 are inhabited. The total area including land and sea is about 90,000sq.K.m. The nearest neighbors are India and Sri lanka. There are no hills, mountains and rivers in Maldives.

Archaeological finds reveal that the islands were inhabited as a early as 1500 B.C. however it is believed that the first settlers in these islands were Aryan immigrants who had come around 500 B.C. today, Maldivians are a mixed race the population is about 288 800.

Throughout the Maldives , Dhivehi, a language which belongs to the Indo—Iranian group of languages is spoken.It’s written from right to left.

Maldivian currency is called Rufiyaa, which is divided into one hundred Laari.

Madives is a 100% Sunni Muslim country. Islam is the religion of the state the back bone of the society.

Almost all visitors to the Maldives arrive by air. Male international airport is situated in Hulue.
